At WJCA, our history is an integral part of our future.
We are not new to the world of architecture. On the contrary, with every project, we are drawing upon three decades of history and expertise to deliver solutions that meet our customers’ needs in inventive and exciting ways. We couldn’t be the business we are today without all our yesterdays, which is why our history and our legacy are both so important to us.
For any type of product or service, customers take comfort in knowing they are buying from or working with an experienced entity. There are numerous reasons for this. Experienced companies have reputations and track records. Experienced companies have honed their skills and values over more years and more projects. Experienced companies have proven something crucial just by standing the test of time.
When clients work with WJCA, they value our experience and history for all these reasons and more. They appreciate the fact that we are licensed in all 50 states, and that we are willing and able to take on projects throughout the United States and around the world. They appreciate that our extensive portfolio boasts projects across the retail, commercial, residential, and educational industries. They take comfort from knowing that we are familiar with different laws, regulations, and compliance factors—both state-to-state and amidst international markets.
These factors all help explain why our heritage is a business that is so important to the work we do at WJCA. However, they do not encompass the full extent of this history and its value. For instance, they don’t touch upon the immense pride that we carry from having worked with iconic brands such as UNIQLO, Godiva, and Panera. They don’t convey the valuable lessons we learned from each of our projects—lessons about design, about customer experience, and about our own professional services — to name a few. They don’t quite do justice to the full extent of our work history, which encompasses well over 35 million square feet in projects, and they don’t show the customer loyalty that is both our loftiest ambition and our deepest pride and joy. When a client becomes a repeat client, we know that they value their history with us as much as we value our history with them. Most WJCA clients, we are humbled to say, are repeat clients.
Something we have learned from our history, though, is that a business such as ours can never rest on past glories or successes. We are constantly judged by the next customer experience, the next design, the next completed project. For these reasons, we are constantly striving to plot a future that is worthy of being cataloged alongside our past. In 2019, WJCA is aiming to keep up the pace with several major projects and high-profile clients. These projects include the New York City location for c’est beau1872, a popular contemporary women’s lifestyle and beauty brand; and a store for LovePop, a 3D greeting card manufacturer, in the brand-new American Dream Meadowlands mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
